Meet Dr Leeb

I was born and raised in Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes. When I am not in the dental clinic, I enjoy meeting new people, listening to and creating music, playing soccer, hiking, camping, and gardening. While exploring different healthcare paths during college, I shadowed a diverse range of medical professionals. The unique intersection of science, art, business, and communication inspired me to choose dentistry as my vocation. I earned my undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and my doctorate from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, I moved to Idaho for a one-year dental residency at Idaho State University-Meridian. At the residency, I learned how to plan and manage complicated dental cases, including implant placement, moderate sedation, surgical extractions, bone grafting, root canal therapy, and more. I then worked at private practices in Caldwell and Nampa for the following three years, developing my general dentistry skillset. Due to some family issues in Minnesota and my own health concerns with developing late-onset type 1 diabetes, I decided to pursue flexible, traveling dentistry opportunities. As a traveling dentist, I was able to work in a variety of locations and areas of dentistry. I often worked at an emergency dental clinic near Minneapolis on Saturdays and Sundays. This job taught me how to compassionately treat people experiencing any variety of dental emergencies and inspired me to start Idaho Emergency Dental.
